Sugg Signs with Texas Wesleyan

Cedar Valley College sophomore and recent graduate Brad Sugg, has signed a letter of intent to continue his collegiate baseball career at Texas Wesleyan University this coming fall.

In two seasons with the Suns, the Fort Worth native has appeared in 32 contests registering 33 strikeouts in 58.1 innings pitched with a 4.78 ERA. Sugg finished with a record of 3-5 with two saves to go along with his 2016 Metro Athletic Conference Honorable Mention as a relief pitcher.

"Brad served as a valuable asset to the SUNS program for 2 seasons. He was a great teammate with competitive drive!" says CVC Head Baseball Coach Robert Dally.

Along with his standout play on the diamond, Sugg is a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, to go along with his recent Associate of Arts degree from Cedar Valley College.

Texas Wesleyan University is a four year institution in Fort Worth, TX that competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
