Conger Commits to LeTourneau

The CVC Baseball Team has announced another student-athlete who will be continuing his education and playing career at a four year institution, with Ryan Conger (Palmer, TX) committing to LeTourneau University.

Since singing with CVC out of Palmer High School, Conger has been a constant at catcher for the Suns, starting behind home plate for the majority of the season, as well as being used as a utility player.

In 28 outings and 60 at bats, Conger registered a batting average of .317, while earning 19 hits, 10 runs, 13 RBIs, six doubles, and a home run.

"He was a successful competitor that would let his presence be known. Given the opportunity, I feel Conger will have much success at LeTourneau University" says CVC Head Baseball Coach Robert Dally.

Ryan was also named to the NJCAA Award for Exemplary Academic Achievement list with an overall 3.77 GPA.

LeTourneau University is a four year institution in Longview, Texas, that competes in the American Southwest Conference and is NCAA Division III sanctioned.
