Suns Baseball Bested by Hill, 8-6

The CVC Baseball Team were defeated by the Hill Rebels on Tuesday afternoon, 8-6. Alex Garcia hit a home run in the loss.

The Suns generated a 4-1 lead going into the top of the fourth inning, before giving up five runs in the bottom of the inning to give the Rebels a 6-4 advantage. Cedar Valley was unable to regroup as Hill held on for the win.

Along with the home run, Garcia finished the day with two hits and two RBIs. Tylor Frailey notched two RBIs and Jorge Palomo had a two-hit outing.

Next up, the Suns will face Southwestern University in a rematch doubleheader this Monday.
