The CVC Baseball picked up a pair of wins on Monday when they swept the LeTourneau YellowJackets (J.V.) in doubleheader play.
The Suns handled the Yellow Jackets in game one, 8-3 victory. CVC scored a game-high five runs in one inning. Notching two strikeouts in three innings pitched, Ryder Lognion earned the win.
Shannon Broussard tallied three hits, three RBIs, and a home run in the win, with Tylor Frailey crossing the plate three times and adding a home run.
Jesus Payan and Daniel Quintanilla each recorded four RBIs and a home run in CVC's 14-6 game two victory. Frailey had a team-high three hits and three runs, while Luis Payan earned the win from the mound.
