Suns Baseball Opens Eastfield Series with 6-3 Win
The CVC Baseball Team opened their Metro Athletic Conference series against the Eastfield Harvesters with a 6-3 victory. Tylor Frailey went 3-4 at the plate and had three runs.
Jesus Payan, who is ranked second in the NJCAA in runs batted in, also went 3-4 at the plate and added three RBIs. Shannon Broussard earned the win from the mound, improving his record to 7-1.
The Suns will host games two and three of the series this Thursday and Friday, respectively.
