The CVC Baseball Team visited the Dallas Christian Crusaders (J.V.) and split in doubleheader action.
The Suns fell to the Crusaders 13-7 in game one of the doubleheader. DCC jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, scoring five runs in the bottom of the second inning and six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Shannon Broussard and Jacob Farmer each had two runs.
The Suns rallied in game two, outlasting the Crusaders, 19-10.
Four Suns crossed the plate three times, while Alex Garcia and Jesus Payan each had three RBIs and a home run.
