Suns Baseball Defeats Mountain View in MAC Series

The CVC Baseball Team claimed their second Metro Athletic Conference series victory after defeating the Mountain View Lions. The Suns rallied to take the final two games of the series after dropping the first game.‬ ‪

In game one, MVC came away with a 9-3 win over Cedar Valley. Grant Moore went 3-4 from the plate picking up an RBI along with Nick Balley. More, Daniel Quintanilla, and Seth-Oz Inocencio all scored runs.‬ ‪

The Suns tied the series in game two with a 6-4 decision powered by home runs from Dakota More and Leonardo Aguilar. More and Aguilar finished the game with a combined five RBIs. Ryan Foley was awarded the win from the mound.‬

‪Cedar Valley had an offensive explosion in the third and final game of the series with a dominating 15-5 victory. Quintanilla and More each had a game high three runs, with Nolyn Box posting four RBIs along with a home run. Six Suns scored at least one run. Jamison Totten and Quintanilla were both a perfect 3-3 at the plate. Noah Lynch received the win.‬

‪The Suns will take a break from conference play on Monday when they travel to face Jarvis Christian.
