The CVC Baseball Team are heading into the final stretch of the 2018 season with only three Metro Athletic Conference series left on the schedule. This week the Suns are hoping to move up in the standings as they take on the North Lake Blazers.
Currently on a five-game winning streak, the Suns are sitting in third place of the MAC only behind Brookhaven and Eastfield. In their last outing, CVC had a stellar series where they swept Mountain View and then went on to defeat Jarvis Christian (JV) in a doubleheader slate.
NLC has lost three of their last four outings, which included a 2-1 series loss to Richland.
In the last match-up between the Suns and Blazers, North Lake came away with two wins in the series to CVC's one.
