Heading into the final full week of April, the CVC Baseball Team will take on Dallas Christian in a Monday afternoon doubleheader.
The Suns are looking to turn things around after falling to North Lake in their Metro Athletic Conference series, 2-1.
The Suns claimed game two of the series off the arm of Noah Lynch, who pitched a shutout in the 3-0 victory.
This will be the second date Cedar Valley and Dallas Christian have clashed, with the Suns taking the first meeting of the year, 15-4. Coby Brooks earned the win from the mound, while Daniel Quintanilla and Billy Rogers each had three runs, with Quintanilla adding a team-high four RBIs.
