Baseball Rallies for Game 3 Win over No. 9 North Lake

The CVC Baseball Team surged to take game three in their Dallas Athletic Conference series against the No. 9 North Lake Blazers over Easter weekend after falling in games one and two. Cedar Valley now sits with an even 12-12 DAC record.

NLC bested CVC in game one, 6-2. Leo Aguilar and Ben Cross each scored a run for the Suns while Jose Castillo and Blake Birdwell each added an RBI.

In game two, Cedar Valley's late-game rally was held off by North Lake in their 10-7 loss. Isaia Diermier and Castillo had team-highs of two RBIs and two runs, respectively. 

CVC topped the Blazers in game three, 7-6. Seven different Suns scored a run with Castillo and Rogers each posting two RBIs. Castillo hit a home run. Jesus Fraga earned the win from the mound.

Cedar Valley returns to action on Wednesday when they begin their series against Eastfield.
