After their game against the Wranglers just the day before, the Suns headed out East to resume their season. This time, they were off to Longview, TX to play the Yellowjackets at LeTourneau University. Last Monday, was another gorgeous 70 degree day when the Suns made the two hour trip traveling to East Texas, 120 miles away.
The first game was at 3PM but the Suns were still tired from the extra hours they put in the day before, while they spent the entire Sunday playing back to back games. That's not to say they didn't put up a fight. The Sun's narrowly lost, 8-6. Later that evening, they returned for their 6PM game, determined to win that second series game. This time, the Sun's smoked the Yellowjackets, 10-2.
