Baseball Hosts Final Home Event of Year 12 p.m. Friday

Dallas College Cedar Valley's baseball team will host Dallas College Brookhaven 12 p.m. Friday in the final athletic event of the 2022-23 academic year.

The No. 13 nationally-ranked Suns (35-18, 15-13 Dallas Athletic Conference) are two wins shy of tying the school record of 37 set in 2017.

Cedar Valley dropped the first game of the three-game series with the Bears, 6-5, Wednesday. The series finale is set for 12 p.m. Saturday at Brookhaven.

The Suns are 14-8 at home this year.

Cedar Valley will finish third in the DAC this season.

The Suns will compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South Central District Tournament beginning Wednesday at Dallas College Eastfield. The tournament schedule will be announced following the completion of this weekend's regular season games.
