Nguyen, Poindexter Advance to NJCAAe Semifinals

DALLAS – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Khoi Nguyen won the FC 24 West Super Regional series over Northwest College, 3-1, to advance to the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports semifinals.

Nguyen, "Midas800," will compete in the semifinals 5 p.m. Monday.

Demarree Poindexter won his Tier 1 Madden 24 West Super Regional Finals series with North Dakota State College, 3-0. The win sends Poindexter, "KB24," on to the NJCAAe national semifinals 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Breanna Smith lost her Tier 1 Madden 24 East Super Regional series to Northwestern Michigan College.
