Suns' eSports March on in Playoffs

CEDAR VALLEY eSPORTS SCHEDULE

LANCASTER, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley's Cade Ferguson continues his march through the national tournament 7 p.m. Tuesday as the No. 1 seed in the National Junior College Athletic Association eSports playoffs.

Ferguson, "TheF3RG," went unbeaten in the regular season in Premier Series' Group 2, Tier 1 competition. He won his first two postseason matches, 2-0, over Dawson Community College Nov. 20, and, 3-0, over Heartland Community College Wednesday.

Joseph Akilimali Assani is competing in the third round of the FC25 Tier 3 opt-in tournament 7 p.m. Sunday. Assani, "As-Jo," is the No. 2 seed. The finals are set for 7 p.m. Monday. He beat his University of South Carolina Sumter opponent, 3-1, to open the postseason Monday.
