The CVC Men's Basketball Team suffered their first loss of the season falling to Garden City CC, 85-66. Freshman Alphonso Hawkins came off the bench to score a team-high 25 points, going 3-7 from beyond the arc.
Amariye Blunson was the second-leading scorer for the Suns with 11 points.
CVC will continue their stay in Kansas taking on Northeastern JC this afternoon.
