The CVC Suns Basketball Team will begin a back-to-back road slate this week before returning to Cedar Valley for their final three games of December. The first team for Cedar Valley in the five-game span will be the Collin Cougars.
Despite falling in their last outing to the Paul Quinn Tigers (JV) at home 95-80, the Suns have won two of their last three games and hold a home record of 5-1. Alphonso Hawkins led the Suns with 22 points and Larry Rusk Jr. had 13 points in the loss to PQC (JV).
Collin currently has a record of 9-1 with their last contest being a win over North Lake, 83-49.
The last time the two squads met, the Cougars defeated the Suns, 98-74.
