The CVC Suns Basketball Team ended their regular season on a high note upsetting the No. 10 Eastfield Harvesters, 85-82 on "Sophomore Day" in their home finale. William DeGraftenreed III and Alphonso Hawkins each had 18 points in the win with DeGraftenreed grabbing seven rebounds and Hawkins dishing out five assists.
Curtis Jones Jr. (15 points, 11 rebounds) and BJ Iroha (10 points, 12 rebounds) each had double-double performances, while Joseph Mason posted a strong double-double stat line of 11 rebounds, 10 assists, and eight points.
Cedar Valley will begin Dallas Athletic Conference Tournament play on Tuesday in a rematch against the Harvesters.
