Men's Hoops Begin Second Half of Conference Play Saturday at Home

Dallas College Cedar Valley's men's basketball team will begin the second half of Dallas Athletic Conference action Saturday.

The Suns host Dallas College Eastfield in a 1 p.m. tipoff. This will mark the third meeting between the two teams this season.

Cedar Valley (10-13, 1-4 DAC) dropped the first conference meeting at Eastfield, 110-85, on Jan. 21. The Suns lost a nonconference game to the Harvester Bees, 119-95, on Nov. 16, also in Mesquite. Ranked No. 8 in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III poll, Eastfield (16-6, 2-3) has dropped its last three.

Cedar Valley is 7-3 at home this season. Eastfield is 2-4 on the road.

Isaiah Sobers leads the Suns in scoring at 14.2 points per game. Isaiah Brass is averaging 11.6 points, and is shooting 41.6 percent from three-point distance. Antonio Freeman is averaging 11.5 points, and shooting 54 percent from the field and 44.7 percent from 3-point range. Kishon Kittrell is averaging 10.2 points and 4.8 rebounds. Malik Conley is the team's leading rebounder at 5.0 boards per game, while Charles Walker is averaging 4.6.
