The CVC Suns Soccer Team were victorious in their season finale defeating Tarrant County, 6-4. Riquelme Nativi led CVC with four goals.
The Suns created a 5-2 advantage in the first half of play, before adding another score after intermission. Yair Gonzalez and Jesus Hernandez also scored.
Diego Villanueva had a team-high three assists, with Patrice Mbezele and Julien Melinqui each adding an assist as well. In their first season in a deacde, Senior Head Coach Nasko Arsov is proud of the rebirthed Suns Soccer program.
"I'm very happy that we re-established the Men's Soccer program after 10 years and had a successful first season.," says Coach Nasko. "It was challenging for our 18-19 year old players to compete against 24-25 year old opponents, but they did well and showed great promise for the future."
The Suns finish the season with an overall record of 5-5 (0-4 Dallas Athletic Conference).
