The fire never seems to go out at Cedar Valley College athletics. After returning from nationals back in March, it was time to recruit a whole new team of Lady Suns but those spots were LIT and LONG GONE before the semester even wrapped! Indeed- those Lady Suns have their cards all lined up!

Along with a talented team of local young athletes, Cedar Valley College participated in collegiate competition for women's basketball during the Fall of 2018, for the first time ever. The bar was set astronomically high, consisting of undefeated regional championships and dominating district tournaments as they soared toward success, ultimately qualifying as the 8th seed of the national championship tournament. Their debut at nationals was HISTORICAL- just within their second year of competition as a team still consisting of inaugural members, they UPSET the undefeated #1 seed in America.
