Williams Collects DAC Player of Week Honor
IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley women's basketball's Kamryn Williams was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week.
Williams, a freshman forward from St. Louis, Missouri, had 34 points and 12 rebounds in collecting her 13th double-double of the season in a 77-73 loss to Dallas College Richland Thursday. She was 13 of 19 from the field, and sank 8 of 20 free throws. She grabbed five offensive rebounds, and had a steal in 41 minutes.
Williams is averaging 17.1 points and 11.1 rebounds, while shooting 51 percent from the floor.
Cedar Valley (7-9, 1-1 DAC) hosts East Texas Baptist University Junior Varsity 6 p.m. Tuesday before resuming DAC play at Dallas College Mountain View (9-10, 1-1) Thursday.
