Williams, McDonald Headline Suns' All-DAC Honors

Dallas College Cedar Valley women's basketball's Kamryn Williams was named co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Dallas Athletic Conference. Suns teammate Cyncere McDonald was the DAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Both were joined on the DAC First Team with Vivian Nwabufo. Passion Bolden and Jamya Brown earned Second Team honors.

A freshman forward from St. Louis, Missouri, Williams averaged 17.5 points, 10.6 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game. She shot 48.7 percent from the floor.

A freshman guard from Waco, Texas, McDonald averaged 12.8 points, five rebounds and 3.6 assists and 1.8 steals per game.

A sophomore forward from Arlington, Texas, Nwabufo scored 10.6 points and pulled down 6.4 rebounds per game, while shooting 47.1 percent.

A freshman guard from Garland, Texas, Bolden averaged 7.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. She was a 45 percent shooter.

A freshman guard from Waco, Brown averaged 5.2 points and 1.2 steals per game.

Cedar Valley went 10-12, advancing to the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Central District semifinals.
