Bio

Paul Parker was named an assistant coach with Dallas College Cedar Valley women's basketball team in November 2023.

He was an assistant coach with Hillsboro High School in 2022-23, winning a District 11-5A and regional championship. From 2020-23, Parker coached the Fort Campbell Eagles to four conference championships and three Military Basketball Association semifinal appearances. His team was the Central United States Conference champion three straight seasons from 2018-21. Parker guided the All-Army Women to two gold medal and one silver medal, while leading Team USA to a bronze medal at the 2019 Military World Games. He was the 2021-22 MBA Western Conference All-Star coach whose team won the game. That same year, his team won the Atlantic Conference championship. His teams won three Central United States Conference titles from 2018-21. In 2020-21, his team won the Joe B. Hall Tournament.

In 2017-18, Parker was named the North American Basketball League Coach of the Year after his team won the championship. 

Parker has also coached at Philadelphia High School, Knowledge Academy and the Dallas Hoyas of the North American Basketball Association.

Parker played three years of professional basketball in Dallas with the Metroplex Lightning in the American Basketball Association and Universal Basketball Association. In 2015-16, he was named the ABA Southeast Division Defensive Player of the Year. From 2003-08, Parker played for the Lackland Warhawks in the Southwest Military Basketball League, which won three straight league titles. In 2006, he was voted the Defensive Player of the Year.
