Lady Suns Placed on All-MAC and All-Region V Teams

The Cedar Valley Lady Suns Women's Soccer Team had five players receive All-Metro Athletic Conference and All-Region V honors, announced by the conference office this week. 

Freshman Sol Rico (Dallas, TX) was named to the All-MAC and All-Region V First Team, with freshmen Tiffany Obregon (Dallas, TX) and Rut Mata (Arlington, TX) being selected to the  All-MAC and All-Region V Second Team.

Freshman Savannah Guigneaux  and sophomore Alexis White received All-MAC and All-Region V Honorable Mention. 

Starting all 13 games this season at midfielder, Sol Rico registered six points,  two goals, two assists, with a .333 shots on goal percentage for the season.

Tiffany Obregon stood out at the forward position for the Lady Suns with four goals, 10 points shooting .423, with Rut Mata standing out defensively in the midfield. 

Savannah Guigneaux finished the season with two goals, four assists, and eight points along with Alexis White turning in one goal and two points.
