Lady Suns Soccer Adds Three Recruits

The CVC Lady Suns Soccer Team, have announced the signing of three players to be added to the 2016 recruiting class.

The new signees include Juana Gonzalez (Nimitz HS/ Irving, TX), Elvia Facio (Skyline HS/ Dallas, TX), and Anahiza Briones (Ferris HS).

Juana Gonzalez, whose sister Elizabeth is a former CVC Sun and First Team All-Metro Athletic Conference selection, was a two year varsity letter winning midfielder at Nimitz High School for Head Coach Nikki Vasquez.

"Juana's attacking ability will help us to create scoring opportunities in the final third." - Head Coach Nasko Arsov

Anahiza Briones, a 2015 graduate from Ferris, TX, played for Head Coach David Rodriguez. Briones a 5'4 defender, was a four year Varsity letter winner and was named captain in her junior and senior seasons.

Elvia Facio, a native of Dallas, TX, was a two year letter winning defender under Head Coach Michael Lysobey at Skyline High School, where she graduated in 2015.
