Savannah Guigneaux and Alex Guzman Sign with LSU-Shreveport

The CVC Athletic Department is proud to announce that Savannah Guigneaux and Alex Guzman have both signed a letter of intent to continue their education and soccer careers at Louisiana State University-Shreveport.

This past season for the Lady Suns, Guigneaux scored a team-high six goals in eight games and finished the year with a team-high 14 points and .625 shot on goal percentage. The Scurry, Texas native is also a two-time All-Metro Athletic Conference selection.

In her only season at Cedar Valley, Guzman played in 11 games at defender for the Lady Suns. She excelled academically being selected to the Chancellor's List and Commissioner's List during the year.

Louisiana State University-Shreveport is a four-year institution in Shreveport, LA that competes in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
