The CVC Lady Suns Soccer Team were dealt their first loss of the season falling to the Redlands Cougars, 3-2.
Redlands struck first with a goal in the 10th minute going up 1-0, but that was before an Ardazal Higgs' goal knotted the game at 1-1 off a Stephany Gonzalez assist in the 31st minute.
The Lady Suns increased their lead 2-1 after a Mia Gauna goal, off a Higgs assist, before intermission.
In the second half, CVC was unable to hold off the Cougars giving up two goals in the 58th and 71st minute.
The Lady Suns will return to action this Thursday when they host Seminole State.
