The CVC Lady Suns Soccer Team earned their second win of the season with a dominating victory over the Southwestern Adventist Knights, 6-0. Ardazal Higgs and Madison Houle each had two goals for Cedar Valley.
Ardazal Higgs scored her two goals in the first half in the 10th and 44th minute, assisted by Mia Gauna and Angelica Govea, respectively. Victoria Reyes added to the lead in the 21st minute with a score coming off an assist from Shyrina Quiroz.
The Lady Suns added to their 3-0 halftime lead with back-to-back goals from Madison Houle at the 48th and 79th minute, assists coming from Higgs and Reyes, respectively.
Reyes sealed the game in the 85th minute with a score coming off an assist from Gauna.
CVC returns to MAC competition this Friday when they host Eastfield.
