The CVC Lady Suns Soccer Team hit a set back after being defeated 13-1 by the Richland Thunderducks. Ardazal Higgs scored for the Lady Suns.

CVC fell behind early with Richland creating a 5-0 deficit in the first half. Higgs put Cedar Valley on the board, assited by Victoria Reyes, at the 43rd minute before halftime cutting the lead 5-1.

After intermission, the Thunderducks went on to score eight more goals to end the game.

The Lady Suns will travel to Keene, Texas on Tuesday to face Southwestern Adventist University.
