The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team were defeated in their Dallas Athletic Conference opener against Eastfield, 3-1. Angeles Moreno scored for CVC.
The Lady Suns held Eastfield scoreless in the first half, before giving up three goals after intermission. Moreno put the Lady Suns on the board in the 88th minute off an Ardazal Higgs assist. Higgs also had 17 saves.
Cedar Valley continues DAC play on Friday when they travel to Mountain View.
