Puente, who leads the team with five goals and 12 points, notched her first career hat trick, while adding an assist for a seven-point night. Litzi Posada and Mohair each scored two goals, and White had a goal and two assists. Eva Zamudio also scored.
The Suns scored four goals in the first half, and tacked on five more in the second, while keeping the Lions off the board. McConnell made two saves to record her first shutout. Cedar Valley (2-3) peppered SWAU with 32 shots, including 15 on goal.
