Tapia Named DAC Offensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College Cedar Valley women's soccer player Lilianna Tapia was selected as the Dallas Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

A freshman forward from Hutchins, Texas, Tapia had her foot on the gamewinning goals in both of Cedar Valley's shutout road wins last week. She scored a goal, and had the gamewinning assist in a 3-0 victory at Dallas College North Lake. Tapia scored the gamewinner in the 2-0 victory at Eastfield.

Tapia has five goals and two assists for 12 points this season.

Cedar Valley (6-2-0, 2-1-0 DAC) will host Dallas College Mountain View 4 p.m. Tuesday and Dallas College Brookhaven 4 p.m. Friday.
