John Antonisse was hired as women’s soccer head coach at Dallas College Cedar Valley in November 2021.

In his first season, Antonisse guided the Suns to the Dallas Athletic Conference semifinals after winning the first postseason game in 13 years. His team won its first game in four years, and finished with five victories. It was the most wins in program history in five years. Cedar Valley won its first conference game in five years. Antonisse coached one First Team, two Second Team and two Honorable Mention All-DAC players. 

Antonisse had prior coaching stops at LeTourneau University and the University of Texas at Dallas, where he became the winningest women's soccer coach at both schools.

From 2014-19, he guided LeTourneau to a 50-47-11 overall record. Five of his six teams qualified for the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament. LETU won a program-best 11 games in 2018, advancing to the ASC semifinals for the first time in team history. Antonisse coached the YellowJackets to three straight winning seasons from 2017-19, going 11-6-2 overall, 7-4-0 in the ASC in 2018. Defender Sarah Harder became the first female College Sports Information Directors of America First Team Academic All-American in school history. In 2017, LeTourneau went 9-7-3, collecting the most wins in a season since 2006. In 2015, Antonisse guided LETU to the ASC Tournament in his second season in charge. His team qualified for the league postseason tournament the following season, marking only the second time in program history back-to-back teams advanced to the ASC Tournament.

From 1997-2013, Antonisse guided UT Dallas to a 209-94-34 record in 17 seasons, and was named ASC Coach of the Year three times. The Comets won the ASC Tournament championship in 2002 and 2004. Antonisse led UTD to the NCAA Division III National Tournament in 2011, going 16-5 overall, 12-1 in the ASC. He took the Comets to the NCAA Regional Finals in 2002, posting a 16-4-2 overall, 10-1-1 ASC record. In 2004, UT Dallas went 16-3-2 overall, 11-1-1 in the league, finishing as ASC co-champions. Antonisse's teams posted 15 straight winning seasons from 1999-2013. His Comets teams qualified for the ASC Tournament every year they were eligible.

Prior to his tenure with UT Dallas, Antonisse served one year as the head coach at the University of Dallas in 1996. He began his coaching career as an assistant with UT Dallas men's soccer team before taking the job at the University of Dallas. He has also coached with the Dallas Texans Soccer Club.

Antonisse earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Tulsa. He earned a master's degree from Amberton University. He holds a United States Soccer Federation "A" license.
