The CVC Volleyball Team were dealt a blow after being defeated by the Trinity Valley Cardinals, 3-0 (18-25, 15-25, 22-25). Malloire Brooks and Cali Odom each had eight kills for the Lady Suns.
Brooks also had a game-high 12 digs, with Miranda Solis posting 19 assists.
The Lady Suns return to Metro Athletic Conference play on Monday when they travel to Eastfield.
