Volleyball Prepares for Howard Payne on Saturday
The Lady Suns Volleyball Team will head to Brownwood, TX on Saturday to take on the Howard Payne Yellow Jackets for an exhibition match.
The Lady Suns are looking to bounce back after falling in their tri-match season opener against the Coastal Bend Cougars (25-20,21-25,16-25,25-21,13-15) and Vernon Chaps in five sets (23-25,25-19,19-25,25-20,15-17).
Mallorie Brooks shined in the season opening tri-match, registering double-doubles in both matches (14 kills and 14 digs vs. CC and 14 kills and 15 digs vs. VC), with Amaya Saenz registering a double-double (11 kills and 11 digs) against Coastal Bend.
