Volleyball Clashes with No. 7 Eastfield
The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team will wrap up their five-game homestand this week beginning with defending NJCAA Division III National Champions, No. 7 Eastfield Harvesters.
The Lady Suns hosted Panola and Hill College in their last showings and fell to both teams in straight-sets. Jasmine Davis posted 15 kills and 13 digs in the tri-match.
Eastfield has won four of their last five outings with their last match being a straight set victory over Paul Quinn College.
In the last meeting between Eastfield and Cedar Valley, the Harvesters ousted the Lady Suns in the Region V Tournament Semi-Finals on the way to claiming their national championship. Mallorie Brooks had a team-high 17 kills and 24 digs.
