Volleyball Hosts Non-Conference Ranger this Friday

The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team will begin the weekend hosting Ranger College on Friday afternoon. The Lady Suns will then prepare for a Saturday tri-match at Panola.

Heading into their clash with Ranger, the Lady Suns improved their Dallas Athletic Conference record to 3-2 after defeating Richland in four sets. Mallorie Brooks and Jasmine Davis each had a double-double in the victory, with Brooks posting 13 kills and 16 digs and Davis tallying 10 kills and 15 digs.

Ranger is currently 15-8 having won their last three games all in straight sets.

This will be the second meeting of the season between CVC and RC with Ranger winning the first outing in straight sets. Brooks had a double-double with a team-high 19 kills and 10 digs in the loss.
