Volleyball Enters DAC Match Versus Brookhaven

The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team will travel to face the Brookhaven Bears on Thursday night in hopes of moving up the Dallas Athletic Conference standings. The Lady Suns are currently 5-3 in conference play and in third place.

Cedar Valley has been hot in their last two matches defeating both North Lake and Mountain View in straight sets. In that span, sophomore Mallorie Brooks registered double-doubles in both victories with 16 kills and 24 digs versus NLC and 10 kills and 11 digs against MVC.

Brookhaven sits in second place of the DAC with a conference record of 6-1.

In the first meeting this season between the two squads, BHC defeated CVC in four sets. Jasmine Davis and Samantha Hernandez each earned a double-double with Davis posting 17 kills, 18 digs, and four blocks and Hernandez registering 22 assists and 13 digs.
