Volleyball Completes Non-Conference Slate Against NCTC this Weekend
The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team return to action this Saturday when they host the North Central Texas Eagles in their final non-conference match of the regular season. This will be the second meeting of the season between the Lady Suns and NCTC.
Cedar Valley heads into the weekend battle after a Dallas Athletic Conference loss to the Brookhaven Bears in five sets. Mallorie Brooks and Jasmine Davis each had double-doubles with Brooks posting 17 kills and 22 digs and Davis registering 17 kills and 14 digs.
North Central Texas has an overall record of 13-16.
In the first meeting this year between CVC and NCTC, the Lady Suns fell in straight sets. Davis had a team-high seven kills with six digs and one solo block.
