Volleyball Takes on Brookhaven in DAC Semi-Finals on Friday

For the second straight season, the CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team have advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Dallas Athletic Conference Tournament (formerly Metro Athletic Conference Tournament). The Lady Suns will face the No. 2 seed Brookhaven Bears in the next round.

In the opening round of the DAC tourney, Cedar Valley made quick work of Richland in straight sets. Jasmine Davis and Mallorie Brooks each registered double-doubles in the win with 14 kills and 13 digs and 10 kills and 15 digs, respectively.

In the season series between CVC and BHC, Brookhaven won both matches. The most recent contest between the two squads saw the Lady Suns fall in five sets to the Bears.
