Davis (MVP), Brooks, Hernandez, and Saenz Earn All-DAC/Region V Honors

Jasmine Davis, Mallorie Brooks, Samantha Hernandez, and Amaya Saenz, as released by the conference office have all been selected to the All-Dallas Athletic Conference/Region V Team. Davis was named All-DAC/Region V Most Valuable Player and received a First Team designation, while Brooks, Hernandez, and Saenz were named to the All-DAC/Region V Second Team.

Jasmine Davis had a remarkable freshman season for the Lady Suns on her way to being named MVP. Davis led CVC with 287 kills, 69 total blocks (40th in the NJCAA), 23 solo blocks, with a .222 hitting percentage and 355 points. The Wichita Falls native posted nine double-doubles during the season and was named Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week for September 16-22.

This is the second consecutive season Mallorie Brooks has earned all-conference honors for the Lady Suns. Brooks led CVC in digs this season with 556 (12th in the NJCAA) and compiled 268 kills, 40 assits,  30 total blocks, and 27 service aces during her sophomore campagin.

Samatha Hernandez had no problem anchoring the setter position on her way to 777 assists (19th in the NJCAA) this season. Hernandez also led CVC with 31 service aces and tallied 310 digs, 36 kills, and eight total blocks in her freshman year.

Amaya Saenz was as integral part of the Lady Suns success this season that helped them make a run in the Dallas Athletic Conference Tournament. The Wichita Falls native engineered an impressive freshman year with 407 digs (34th in the nation), 117 kills, 33 assists, 20 total blocks, and six service aces.
