Cedar Valley Athletics Begin Fall Competition Aug. 18

Dallas College Cedar Valley women's and men's soccer teams open the 2022 season Aug. 19. The Suns volleyball team opens the season Aug. 18.

Dallas College Cedar Valley will open the fall athletics schedule Thursday, Aug. 18.

 

Cedar Valley's volleyball team will compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association Region V vs. Region XIV Showdown at Coastal Bend College Aug. 18-20. The Suns will play in the Western Texas College Volleyball Fall Classic Aug. 26-27. After a home match versus Clarendon College Aug. 30, the Suns play in the Vernon College Classic Sept. 2-3.

 

Cedar Valley will host the Suns Tri-Match against Southwestern Christian College and Independence Community College Sept. 9. The Suns will compete in the Lee College Invitational Sept. 16-17.

 

The Suns open Dallas Athletic Conference play Sept. 19 at Dallas College Richland. They will host Dallas College Mountain View Sept. 22 in the first conference home match. Cedar Valley closes the league schedule Oct. 20 at Dallas College Brookhaven before wrapping up the regular season Oct. 24 at Southwestern Adventist University.

 

Cedar Valley's women's soccer team opens the season 4 p.m. Aug. 19 at home against Ranger College. The Suns play their first three games at home, with dates against Trinity Valley Community College (Aug. 23) and Paris Junior College (Aug. 26).

 

The Suns' first road game is Sept. 2 at Cisco College. They return home Sept. 6 to meet National Park College before wrapping up non-conference play at Southwestern Adventist University Sept. 13.

 

Cedar Valley opens DAC action Sept. 16 at home against Mountain View. The Suns' final home game is Oct. 14 against Dallas College North Lake. They finish the regular season at Richland Oct. 18.

 

The Suns men's soccer team kicks off the season Aug. 19 at home against Ranger College at 6 p.m. That begins a four-game homestand for the Suns that will take them to the end of August.

 

Cedar Valley hits the road Sept. 2 to play at Dallas Christian College. After returning home to host National Park College Sept. 6, the Suns will play the next five games on the road.

 

The Suns open DAC play Sept. 14 against Mountain View. They host Richland Sept. 28. The Suns close the regular season at Richland Oct. 19.
