Before heading into the Thanksgiving break, the CVC Men's Basketball Team will first have to handle business in Waco, where they will take on the McLennan Highlanders on Monday night.
The Suns are reeling from a 89-73 loss, at the hands of Kilgore College. Levin Johnson led Cedar Valley with 31 points, while JF Thomas registered 22 points, and Dalyn Mumphrey grabbed nine rebounds.
The Highlanders are currently 10-0, with their most recent win being a 83-70 win over the Fort Hood Phantom Warriors.
In the last meeting between CVC and MCC in 2015, the Suns fell 88-72. Johnson and Eric Stewart had nine and seven points, respectively.
