Despite a late rally, the CVC Men's Basketball Team were unable to take down the undefeated McLennan Highlanders, falling 84-76. Desmond Kennedy came off the bench, to lead the Suns with 16 points.
Despite the loss the Suns were hot from the three point line, shooting 43.5% going 10-23. Eric Stewart turned in 14 points on the night, while Amariye Blunson had 10 points and a team high four assist.
JF Thomas and Dalyn Mumphrey each pulled down double digit rebounds, with 14 and 10, respectively.
The Suns will return home on Monday night, to host IQ Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m.
