MAC Tourney Preview: Suns vs. Mountain View

The CVC Men's Basketball Team will begin Metro Athletic Conference Tournament play this Tuesday, when they face the fourth seeded Mountain View Lions on the campus of Eastfield College at 6:00 p.m. The Suns head into the postseason tournament as the fifth seed after finishing with a 4-6 conference record.

This past weekend, Cedar Valley wrapped up the regular season defeating the North Lake Blazers, 90-83. On "Sophomore Day," Desmond Kennedy led the Suns with 20 points, while Joshua Johnson and JF Thomas each notched 19 points, with Thomas also pulling down a game high 13 rebounds.

Mountain View has won both meetings this year against the Suns, with the last showdown resulting in a 94-83 victory for the Lions. JF Thomas registered a game high double-double with 24 points and 17 rebounds in the latter outing.
