The CVC Suns Basketball Team were unable to return home with a win from the Kilgore Classic falling to the Tyler Apaches, 81-53 and the Kilgore Rangers, 70-69.
In the loss to Tyler, team-highs for the Suns were Jalen Lyons and AJ West with seven points each, Curtis Jones Jr. with nine rebounds and four blocks, and Larry Rusk Jr. with 10 assists.
In the close defeat at the hands of Kilgore, Rusk went 7-15 from the field for a game-high 27 points and nine assists. William DeGraftenreed III pulled down six rebounds.
The Suns will face McLennan before they break for Thanksgiving.
