Women's Basketball Breezes Past ETBU (JV), 74-51
It's been a great start to 2019 for the CVC Lady Suns Basketball Team and it remained that way on Monday night, when the Lady Suns extended their win streak to five games after routing the East Texas Baptist Lady Tigers, 74-51. CVC was dominant all night holding ETBU (JV) to only four points in the first half.
Alana Rusk, who went 4/5 from three-point land, and Trysten Mosley were the leading scorers for CVC with 15 points each. Jaidyn Johnson and Jaryanna Ward each scored in double-figures with 11 and 10 points respectively, with Ambreenique Williams adding eight points and 11 rebounds.
The Lady Suns return to action on Wednesday night when they host Southwestern Christian.
