Lady Suns VB Open Year on the Road at NCTC

The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team will begin their 2017 campaign this Wednesday, when they travel to Gainesville, Texas to take on the North Central Texas Lions.

The Lady Suns have four returning players from last season, including All-Metro Athletic Conference/Region V selections Brenda Duran, Cali Odom, and Makayla Brisco.

Duran led Cedar Valley in kills (293 / 2.76 k/s) and assists (359/3.39 d/s), while Odom had a team-high in solo blocks (11 / 0.58 b/s) in 2016.

CVC faced NCTC in their season opener in 2016 and fell in straight sets. Odom finished with four kills and Duran notched 12 digs.
