Lady Suns Open MAC Play Against Brookhaven

The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team will open Metro Athletic Conference play on Monday, September 18 at Brookhaven College at 7:00 pm.

CVC enters MAC action with a 2-10 non-conference record, having dropped their last two outings againast Panola College and Odessa College on a Friday doubleheader.

Entering conference play, leaders for the Lady Suns include Mallorie Brooks with 68 kills (2.34 k/s), Miranda Solis with 262 assists (7.08 a/s), Sarah Carrola with 209 digs (5.65 d/s), and Cali Odom with 17 total blocks.

Brookahven currently holds a record of 3-13 and is currently on a three game losing streak.

In the first meeting this season between the two squads, BHC defeated Cedar Valley in five sets at the NCTC Invitational Tournament. Mallorie Brooks and Brenda Duran each had 12 kills for the Lady Suns.
