The CVC Lady Suns Volleyball Team earned a thrilling victory on Monday night defeating the Brookhaven Bears in five sets (25-22,19-25,24-26,27-26,15-8) to open Metro Athletic Conference play. Mallorie Brooks registered her fifth double-double of the season with 16 kills and 15 digs.
Miranda Solis dished out a game high 43 assists to go along with 16 digs, while Sarah Carrola dug out 35 balls with six assists and two service aces for CVC.
Sophomore Cali Odom turned in a stat line of 12 kills, five blocks, and nine digs.
The Lady Suns return to action on Thursday when they take on North Lake in Irving.
